10:04 pm	Another day and another splash Well things are going alright. We had a song cut and decided to get rid of 2 songs, and now we have a total of 5 songs completed, and 2 covers. We have lyrics for 3 songs. They all sound pretty kickass and we are working on getting a new song finished. My splash cymbol broke unfortunatly, but luckily I was able to get a new one because my brother loaned me some money. Practice again soon I hope, and I shall post the date here. 12:38 pm	Indeed, finally an update Alright well the band is taking set. We are now having our 4 and hopefully final addition to the band, Matt, for vocals. We are shaping up, and have 6 songs completely done, along with 2 covers. We are ready for shows once we get lyrics and such and all of it down and ready. Recently I have been working on our webpage, and it will be up within the month, maybe later. Once completed I will post the address here. Practice today. 8:44 pm	Practice today kicked soo much ass. Me, Kyle, and Kurt went over everything and it was a blast. Then we wrote a new kick ass song. I fucking love it. I'm not sure if Kyle has everything down for it but me and Kurt do. It's crazy. Like a fucking fox. lol. But we still haven't practiced with Skyler so I guess we're not going to bother with that. 2:21 am	Fucking found a singer. How sweet is that? Skyler. Everyone I asked said he was good. Hell yeah. We'll find out soon as he's ungrounded. Which is by summer at the latest. Which means you should be able to expect shows soon. I used to talk to this kid in middle school. I've known him longer than anyone I still talk to so that's sweet to. 12:29 am	Breaking the laws of music Well after many practices, lots of aching joints, and some bad moods, we are coming along a little better. We have been coming a little slow, but I think that its a little better that way, so we can make everything come togeather just right, which even though its not alot of things, the stuff we do have it pretty kickass and sounds good to me. After about like 2 sec of considering what I suggested, we decided on what we will use as an album name/ slogan, which will be "Breaking the laws of music". We all like it very well. We have 2 cover songs, and 3 of our own songs that are COMPLETELY done and figured out, and a few that are partialy put togeather, some more than others. Soon we can play at shows.....except we have no singer! We desperately need one! ARGGGGGGGG For now, the chords will be played, drums be hit, strings be plucked and cymbols crash as we peice togeather our talents to form some music. 10:06 am	Me and Kurt are hanging out here at my house. We can't practice becuase Kyle broke all his drum sticks. What a cracker. Me and Kurt were playing yesterday and probly will more later today though. I started writing two new songs. They're alright so far. Still need to finish my 5th song but I haven't really been working on it. All I have to do for it is write a breakdown. So I'll probly get that done today. 9:41 pm	Started recording my guitar today. Finished 3 out of 5 songs. I think I'm being too picky about it though. And I'll probly still re do them all anyway. lol. Oh well. But anyway, I'm picking up a mic cord on the way to band practice tomorrow and we're going to see if Colby can sing or not. If not, well, it's just a minor set back. But hopefully he can. Yeah, so hopefully things will start going faster and we can start playing shows soon. I can't wait till we do start that. 9:29 pm	Mr. Bass Man Practiced today. Kurt's going to work out just fine. I'm sure of that now. We may go out tomorrow and get him a new bass. Since the one he has now is kinda fucked up. Something cheap. Maybe a Squire. It'll be better than his bass now almost no matter what we get. lol. But you know. Funds are limited. lol. He's learning fast. Turning out good. Should be practicing again tomorrow also. I need to take the D string off of my Fender and put in on my Gibson since the Gibson's D string broke today. Which ended practice. I need to start carring arroud an extra set of strings from now on. lol. 6:16 pm	Our weekend was devoted. We practiced sooo much. Several hours saturday. Literally. It was kewl though. Kurt couldn't come Saturday and didnt' show up on time Sunday so he still hasn't practiced with the Drum set. And not really at all but alright. Kyle finished the drums for two songs now. And we learned "The Casualties- Unknown Soldier". Because I was messing arround and figured out the intro so I looked up the rest and downloaded it and played it a few times for Kyle and he learned the drums for it. It's a fun song. The second song we wrote is fucking awesome though. Drums are bad ass. I might try to write a different break down for it though. But besides that it's pretty kewl. So sometime soon Kurt needs to join us. lol. Totally unrelated to the whole point of this journal, but, I just got my From Ashes Rise cd today, and I'm loving it. lol. Alright. 10:58 pm	Anyone reading this, please feel free to add opinions (be nice) and ideas on anything you see fit. We are very glad to accept all support anyone is willing to give, so go ahead, and in the future, we just might remember you! Well today kicked fucking ass. After a long while my mom picked up my drum set, and we got it, set it up, and I played away, getting used to the feel. We got a damn good deal, and it sounds very good. Because of how late it was, we didnt get to practice much, but we have the basis of a song now, and we need to work on the drums some more for like the other...8 songs we have. Tomorrow, we are getting up early, and fucking working our asses off. Our goal is 2 or 3 songs complete ( maybe with bass depending on weather Kurt will show up ). If in any case Kurt cant be out bassist, we will need a new one, along with a singer. Kurt may or may not be bass, he seems really busy, but we can maybe work around it. We have lyrics, which will be posted soon. We are coming along actualy kinda well, it will take some time, but we have alot of it. Well im off to go work on some new shit, farewell to all! 3:31 pm	So this is our band journal. Exciting. I know. lol. So since we're supposed to use this... Kyle actually gets his drum set today or tomorrow. Fuckin yes! It's purple. Used. It was some chicks before. It has a bunch of star and moon glow in the dark shit on it and like 5 Radioactive Sheep stickers on it. lol. But that means we can actually have a practice where everyone (excluding Vocals) plays for the second time. Second time. haha. Yupp. We're lame. Oh well. I'm done.
